Salary: Grade 11 SCP (38 – 41) – £49,282 to £52,413

Position: School Business Manager – St Julian’s School (Full Time, Permanent, 52 weeks)

Location: Newport, South Wales (St Julian’s School)

About the role

You’ll take the lead on financial planning and management, ensuring resources are used effectively to support learning and school improvement. You’ll manage the business support team and work closely with the Headteacher and other leaders to deliver strategic change.

What we’re looking for
  • A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in finance, business management or accountancy.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and driving organisational change.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning and managing large budgets, ideally within an education setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare business cases and influence strategic decisions.
