This is a very complex, process oriented, high level sales position that requires passion and enthusiasm.**You are responsible for;*** Responsible for achieving and growing sales in assigned territory primarily in the South East and London area* Assists in advancing revenue and market position consistent with company goals and is able to achieve solid account penetration and develops new target accounts in close collaboration and alignment with local distributors.* Stays ahead of all purchasing related plans of all accounts and monitors tender usage and orders.* Develops and manages distributor and key customer relationships and services sales territory and interfaces with distributors and customers (including physicians, laboratories and hospitals).* In close alignment with distributors serving existing and prospective customers by implementing and verifying customer needs and requirements and by meeting or exceeding their expectations.* Observes Health Policy and Reimbursement. Proactively defines market access goals in cooperation with Management and HQ.* Take part on national and international congresses and educational events in cooperation with management HQ.* Conducts sales presentations for new and existing customers as necessary. Conducts training sessions on products.* Maintains up-to-date and accurate sales records and will input data and information into SalesForce tool.* Meets with distributors and customers to define product/service needs and specifications and continuously works with distributors and customers to monitor product performance and needs.* Interfaces with marketing to quantify needs and to provide intelligence to management on competitive products and Company product enhancements.* Keeps abreast of new products in the market and of current and future Company products.* Process and monitor product complaint per company procedures.**You are a part of;**A dynamic sales team that operates in a specialist area of the business showing consistent growth at the cutting edge of health technology.**To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;*** Ideally a background within medical equipment sales or strong sales background in an equipment based role.* Experience on technical background of products such as cardiology and/or ultrasound products would be an advantage.* Proven track record of hitting sales targets & managing multiple customer accounts* Knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel) is required and good English language skills are essential.* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.* Excellent analytical, training and motivational skills as well as excellent advocacy and persuasive skills.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.From competitive salary, sales bonus and car to family friendly policies, flexible benefits and access to Philips University, a career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits.
