Role Overview

The Sales Group Director will lead the European sales organisation, manage a team of direct reports, and develop key customer relationships. This senior role requires an extensive network in the European semiconductor market, strong commercial acumen, and experience working in multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing European sales team, including new roles reporting into this position.
  • Define and execute the European sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic semiconductor customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and executive teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings, with regular on-site attendance required.
Requirements
  • Proven track record and strong network in European semiconductor sales.
  • Experience working with Chinese companies is advantageous.
  • Prior experience at tier-1 semiconductor companies highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-person sales teams.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and attend key customer sites regularly.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
