Overview

Sales Development Representative Placement Student, London, UK (German/French speaking) – 12 month work placement as part of degree. Central London based (Old Street). July 2026 start date. Salary £27,500 per annum.

What you will do
  • Qualify leads from various sources including website, marketing events, seminars and incoming calls, from initial contact to a qualified appointment with an Account Executive.
  • Find up-sell opportunities.
  • Involvement in account planning and mapping exercises with the wider sales team.
  • Get involved in projects that support the wider sales team.
  • Build key relationships with prospects to gain a deep understanding of company and prospects goals to enable expansion of Box technology and solutions across the enterprise.
  • Undertake campaigns with Marketing around specific business propositions and market awareness.
  • Manage accurate administration of our lead management system (Salesforce.com).
What does a Sales Development Representative (SDR) actually do?

This is typically the entry point for anyone looking to begin a career in tech sales or business development. You will work closely with Account Executives who are closing the pipeline you generate. You are on the frontline as the first touch point for a number of businesses, from major companies to government departments and startups. You will have a quota and set meetings with senior level decision makers.

  • Fluent German or French speaking is required.
Eligibility

To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2027, and you must have the right to work in the UK. A subject related to Business, Management or Marketing is a plus, but not required.
