Job summary

A leading technology consultancy in Cannock is seeking a Sales Development Consultant to generate leads for a dynamic sales team. This hybrid role offers up to £45,000 a year plus a discretionary bonus and benefits. Sales Development Consultant (SDC)

Up to £45,000

DCS Technology in partnership with our client who are a Microsoft Gold Partner consultancy we are searching for a Sales Development Consultant to join their team during a very exciting time. You will be critical in generating sales leads for a fast paced and successful sales team!

Your responsibilities day to day will be:
  • Execute multi-channel outreach and prospecting campaigns to engage decision-makers.
  • Proactively generate new sales opportunities
  • Utilise CRM lead scoring models to prioritise outreach and maximise engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand prospect challenges and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign strategy.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and market insights to support continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Sales Development
  • Proven success generating leads through multi-channel outbound prospecting.
  • Strong understanding of managing the sales funnel from data sourcing through to sales conversion.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Experience using tools such as LinkedIn, and platform such as Dynamics/D365.
  • Understanding of or experience within the Not-for-Profit (NP) sector. (Highly advantageous)
