Job summary

A reputable healthcare organization in Oxfordshire is looking for a Rotational Speech and Language Therapist. This full-time position involves managing caseloads for children and young people and rotating into adult services. Qualifications

  • Experience of working as a band 5 SLT.
  • Completion of RCSLT NQP Competencies.
  • Understanding of statutory/legal requirements in specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Manage own caseload delivering evidence-based SLT to children and young people.
  • Rotate into adult services, supporting clients with communication needs.
  • Supervise assistants and students and contribute to service development.

Skills

Experience of working with children & young people with complex speech, language and communication needs
Excellent interpersonal skills
Competent IT skills for use of electronic health records
Demonstrates knowledge of national policies
Demonstrates excellent communication skills
Demonstrates adequate flexibility

Education

Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
Registered & practicing member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
HCPC registration (pending)
