Job Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Retail Designer to participate in POP MART‘s European end-to-end design solutions for branded retail environments. From concept local adaptation to execution, you will collaborate with regional and global cross‑functional teams to create innovative retail spaces that blend aesthetic appeal, commercial success, and immersive customer experiences—driving the brand’s competitive edge.
What You Will Achieve
Retail Space Design
- Lead POP MART‘s European end‑to‑end design for retail stores, pop‑ups, showrooms, and other commercial spaces, including concept local adaptation, floor planning, 3D visualization, and construction drawings.
- Develop creative design proposals aligned with brand aesthetics and business objectives while staying current with market trends.
Design Execution and Implementation
- Actively participate in projects key phases, in partnership with regional key partners (Construction, Procurement, Operations,…) to ensure accurate design realization, coordinating materials and suppliers selection, and on‑site problem solving for Europe area.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and retail ops teams to optimize in‑store presentation.
Market & User Research
- Analyze retail trends, consumer behavior, and competitor case studies to inform design decisions.
- Focus on user experience, optimizing store layouts, lighting ambiance, and interactive elements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with brand stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery.
- Work with marketing and operations teams to enhance store performance.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or related fields.
- 5+ years of retail space design experience, with a portfolio showcasing branded store or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and other design software.
- Strong understanding of the retail industry, with the ability to translate brand needs into spatial design.
- Solid space planning skills and familiarity with construction methods and materials.
- Good command of English.
