A leading optical retailer in Glenrothes is seeking a Customer Care Assistant to join their team. The role involves providing outstanding customer care, performing diagnostic procedures under the supervision of an optometrist, and ensuring compliance with protective guidelines. Qualifications

  • Ability to provide excellent customer care in all care pathways.
  • Capable of performing diagnostic and pre-assessment procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear explanation of the appointment to the customer.
  • Ensure all data protection and regulatory rules are followed.
  • Complete diagnostics while adhering to IPC and PPE guidelines.

Main purpose of the role...
  • Providingexcellent customer care in all care pathways being utilised in the store.
  • Equipment / technical set ups, completing of delegated tasks
  • Perform diagnostic / pre-assessment procedures under the supervision of the optometrist
  • Perform digital imaging and OCT scan capture
  • Perform visual field testing following the attending optometrist's instructions of strategy and programme
Essential skills
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Confidentto seek guidance and support when needed
Main responsibilities
  • Provide clear explanation of the appointment to the customer
  • Ensure all datas protection and regulatory rules and regulations are explained and followed
  • Complete the necessary diagnostics with the customer whilst adhering to the current IPC and PPE guidelines
  • Ensure the customer is comfortable and aware of what to expect at each part if their journey
