Job summary

A reputable construction company based in Caterham is seeking a Mid-senior level Architect or Urban Designer to join their Design team. This role requires creating masterplans and architectural solutions for various residential projects, with an emphasis on design, planning applications, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be RIBA Part III qualified and have at least 2 years of experience in residential architecture. The position offers a competitive salary and flexible working options.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in residential architecture.
  • Experience of managing applications through the planning system.
  • Knowledge of designing residential developments.

Responsibilities

  • Working on residential projects of various sizes.
  • Design of scheme layouts, masterplans & architecture.
  • Production of planning application package.
  • Meeting and communicating with local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Instruction and management of external consultants.
  • Regular site visits to ensure design implementation.
