Hart Reade LLP is seeking two Residential Conveyancing Solicitors for its Eastbourne and Polegate offices. The roles require management of conveyancing transactions, excellent communication skills, and good IT proficiency, all within a supportive law practice offering desirable salary and benefits.
Hart Reade LLP is recruiting for two Residential Conveyancing Solicitors – one at our Eastbourne head office and one at our Polegate branch.
Candidates should have current experience managing conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers.
The role requires good IT skills and competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with a case management system is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided. You will also be expected to use online accounts (e.g., The Land Registry, Government Gateway, anti-money laundering searches, quotation system) and office equipment (scanning, copying, printing).
We are looking for someone who is highly organized with keen attention to detail.
Good written and spoken English is essential, along with strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and external contacts. We pride ourselves on excellent client care; therefore, applicants should be confident and personable both on the phone and face to face.
These are full-time, office-based roles with support staff assistance. We are open to candidates seeking to work a minimum of 4 days a week and those close to qualifying as a solicitor with relevant experience.
In return, you will join a thriving law practice accredited with Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme. We offer a supportive, professional environment, along with an attractive salary, benefits, and bonus package.
Please send your up-to-date CV and covering letter to Mrs. B Ticehurst, HR & Administration Manager, Hart Reade LLP, 104 South Street, Eastbourne BN21 4LW, or email bticehurst@hartreade.co.uk.
