Job summary

A leading infrastructure solutions provider is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to manage major infrastructure projects. This role involves ensuring financial compliance and optimal contract recovery, with a preference for experience in Electricity Transmission and Distribution projects. The role begins remotely and transitions to a site in the NW/NE of England, requiring travel as needed. Candidates should have a strong commercial background in construction and be working toward RICS or CICES membership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record of achievement in commercial management.
• Extensive experience with office management systems and document control.
• Ability to prepare reports, payment certificates, and closeout reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager.
• Ensure effective implementation of commercial policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly progress valuations and claims for completed work.

Skills

Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry

Financial and commercial acumen

Proven negotiating and team-working skills

Strong analytical skills

Education

Full Membership of RICS or CICES (or working towards)
