A local community service organization in Milton Keynes is seeking Relief Early Years Practitioners to provide quality care in various children's centres. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare, with a focus on creating a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. This role offers flexible hours during school terms.
Community Learning Milton Keynes (CLMK) run classes in various Family and Children Centres across Milton Keynes. A creche is sometimes provided on site so that children are cared for whilst their parent/carer is attending class.
We’re seeking Relief Early Years Practitioners to work in our creches. Sessions are usually 2 – 2.5 hours and are generally during school hours and term-time. The working hours are varied and it’s possible for you to choose your own.
As classes happen in different centres across the city, you’ll need to be flexible about location. You’ll also have a Level 3(or above) qualification in Early Years and Childcare or equivalent.
Should you be offered the role, as part of the pre-employment checks an Enhanced DBS will be actioned for you (unless you are on the DBS Update Service).

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
