The Inpatient Psychiatry Unit (G1) provides care for adults 18 and older at both St. Mary’s and Rochester General Hospital, treating individuals with schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and those receiving ECT. Nurses play a key role in direct patient care, including medication administration, de‑escalation, diabetic care, and blood draws, while working closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
