Overview

Limbless Association (LA) Kitchen Hub Volunteers will work alongside the LA team to help deliver a food and beverage service to amputees, carers, clinicians, and centre visitors. The kitchen offers LA signposting and simple refreshments to all those using the centre.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with LA staff regarding rosters, stock, and kitchen needs.
  • Work with others or solo during kitchen opening hours.
  • Prepare food and beverages safely within food hygiene guidelines.
  • Handle cash and other payment methods.
  • Signpost amputees to other LA services where needed.
  • Report any concerns to the Volunteer team.
  • Work within our Health & Safety policy and food hygiene guidelines.
  • Attend and engage with training and networking opportunities.

Commitment of one session a week between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
