A local educational institution in Basildon is seeking a personable and organized Receptionist to join their busy secondary school. In this part-time position, you'll serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, creating a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, directing calls, and supporting the administration team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a school or office setting, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. This role offers a salary range of £14,521 with increments.

We are seeking a personable and organised Receptionist to join our busy secondary school on a part‑time basis. As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient school environment.
Salary Range: Band 2: £26,646 - £27,911 (Actual starting salary £14,521 with annual performance‑based increments)
Working Weeks: 39 weeks (Term time), plus an additional 6 days to be worked in school holidays
Working Hours: 22.5 hours between 07:30-16:30 Wednesday - Friday
This post is presently based at our Lower academy. However, staff can be redeployed to either site dependent upon operational needs.
