Priory Hospital Cardiff is looking to recruit a Receptionist to join the team. The reception area will be manned 7 days a week; as such, the role will involve structured weekday and weekend working. Shift times will be 7am to 7pm (inclusive of a 1.15-hour break). The shift pattern will include four shifts one week and three shifts the following week, on a rolling rota. This includes working every other weekend. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours. Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit. The unit includes accommodation for 4 patients and a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support service areas. The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

Holds an NVQ Level 1 qualification in a relevant area or GCSEs (or equivalent), with experience gained in a customer-facing environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills through direct engagement with the public.
