Relevé School of Ballet is dedicated to providing a consistently exceptional standard of teaching to boys and girls age 5+ in a friendly and supportive environment.

We offer structured classes from Pre-Primary all the way to Grade 8 and beyond, taught by passionate and caring teachers.

Pupils have the opportunity to follow take Royal Academy of Dance examinations as well as take part in class demonstrations and performances.

Role Description

Relevé School of Ballet are looking for an experienced teacher to lead RAD ballet classes on Saturday mornings. Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality ballet lessons in accordance with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, grades Pre-Primary up to Grade 2. The role includes preparing students for examinations and performances, monitoring their progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. Good communication and reliability are essential.

Teacher must be able to fully commit to minimim 1 full academic year (Sept 2026-July 2027)

Cleves School, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 9TS

Timings

Saturdays, 9am-1pm, during term time

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifed/Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), or other exam board accepted (e.g. ISTD, IDTA)
• Experience in teaching ballet to children age 5-12 years, of various skill levels.
• Ideally: experierence in preparing students for RAD examinations and choreographing for occasional performances
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining a supportive and safe class environment
• Enhanced DBS required - this can be arranged by Relevé School of Ballet if needed.
• First Aid certification is an advantage
• Additional qualifications or experience in other dance styles is a plus
