The Company:

You’ll be an integral part of our commercial team, collaborating closely with clients, architects, designers, contracts and project managers, estimators and subcontractors. Your financial insights will guide key decisions, ensuring we breathe new life into each space while respecting existing structures and historical character.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control project expenditure throughout the construction process, ensuring adherence to budget.
  • Provide valuable commercial advice to project managers and directors.
  • Budgeting and targeting costs on project appointment.
  • Procurement, reviewing and appointing subcontractors.
  • Cost management of projects such as identifying variations and costing, submitting valuations and final accounts, reviewing and certifying sub-contractor accounts as well as reviewing costs/performance and targets of site operatives etc.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately to deadlines.
  • Membership of a recognised professional body (RICS) is preferred
