Overview

BUOYANCY AEROSPACE Ltd, UK is seeking a Quality Engineer for the structural airframe components section. The company focuses on aerospace, space, and defense with active production facilities in the UK and Germany and a growing workforce. The role offers a high-performance environment with meaningful work at the intersection of technology and defense.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager.
  • Communicate quality issues with customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare First Article Inspection reports.
  • Lead/support RCCA activities and the NCR process dealing with non-conforming products while implementing robust corrective actions.
  • Generate, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions and SOPs.
  • Review and manage customer specifications.
  • Manage the calibration system.
  • Conduct Internal audits to schedule.
  • Support customer and regulatory audits.
  • Support the reporting of KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • AS9100 Internal auditor certification.
  • Previous experience as Quality engineer in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
  • IT Literate.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
