Overview

Victrex is a world leader in high-performance polymer solutions, and we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring quality compliance across the full product lifecycle in a highly regulated industry.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you’ll be the quality lead on project teams, ensuring our products and services meet international standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll be responsible for design approvals, managing customer complaints, and leading validation activities. You’ll also support audits and maintain technical documentation to enable product registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality assurance activities across the full product lifecycle.
  • Approve batch releases.
  • Define and implement quality compliance plans.
  • Manage customer complaints, CAPAs, and root cause investigations.
  • Plan and report validation activities internally and with suppliers/customers.
  • Maintain Master Files and Technical Files for product registration.
  • Support internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on quality matters.
Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems relevant to market sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with auditing processes in regulated environments, including:
    • ISO 13485
    • MDR
    • FDA QMSR
Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
Additional Information

This role requires frequent travel to our Lancashire HQ, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
