Health & Safety Coordinator – Ollerton

As a Health and Safety Coordinator you will provide flexible and efficient Health and Safety support to the department while supporting the site overall by communicating with the first aiders and the health and safety reps on the site. This is a full‑time, permanent position, predominantly working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day health & safety requirements; accident reporting, near‑miss and accident investigations, customer reports and compliance.
  • Help develop, deliver and monitor the health & safety framework.
  • Assist, develop and promote a safety‑first culture of health and safety awareness across site.
  • Provide help and support to the management teams and key personnel to allow them to have a better understanding of their roles & responsibilities regarding health and safety management.
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Previous Health & Safety experience, with an understanding of processes and procedures relating to Health and Safety.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Strong IT knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Holder of an IOSH qualification is essential.
