A device management startup is seeking a Software Tester to manually test releases across various platforms, ensuring quality and performance. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, familiarity with device management concepts, strong attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills. The position offers a salary range of $60,000 - $100,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance, ideally in a SaaS or device management environment.
• Familiarity with device management concepts and tools (e.g., MDM, Intune, Jamf, or Fleet).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and test documentation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork with engineers and QA teammates.
• Comfortable regularly repeating structured manual testing processes, regression testing, and feature validation.
• Bonus: Hands-on experience testing across multiple operating systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Manually test Fleet releases across all supported platforms.
• Perform smoke tests and regression tests before and after releases.
• Reproduce new bug reports to confirm behavior, gather logs, and assist engineers.
• Identify, reproduce, and document issues found during testing.
• Create, maintain, and improve detailed test plans, checklists, and test cases.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product Designers.
• Validate user experiences and device enrollment flows on multiple operating systems.
• Support end-to-end validation of new MDM and device management capabilities.
