Talent Acquisition Associate – Project Land Surveyor

Laing O'Rourke/Expanded are currently recruiting for a Project Land Surveyor. This national role covers projects in the North West, Manchester, Birmingham and other UK locations.

UK Driving Licence required. This role does not offer Sponsorship. As part of the benefits package we offer a company car scheme (or allowance) and a Daily Travel / Mobility Allowance.

Responsibilities
  • Proficient undertaking land/topographic and engineering surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners.
  • Setting out.
  • Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Revit/Navisworks.
  • Preparing survey drawings.
  • Earthworks quantification.
  • Liaising with site Project Manager and Engineering team.
  • Liaising with the LOR Digital Engineering team.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Geomatics/Engineering Surveying or Technical Qualification (NVQ/TSA) or relevant qualifications preferred.
  • Leica Equipment and software (3DR) proficiency.
  • Experience extracting data from point clouds and CAD drafting.
  • CICES membership (Member) or equivalent desired but not mandatory.
  • Experience using Starnet.
  • Drone licence would be beneficial.
  • Cutting‑edge IT skills and confidence with new technology (Leica).
