Job summary

A local educational organization in Ashford seeks a compassionate individual to support young people with SEND and mental health issues in their career progression. Responsibilities include delivering support directly to students, facilitating work experience placements, and engaging with local employers. Applicants must have experience, GCSE English proficiency, and a valid driver license. Job description

Can you help support a young person with SEND and or mental health issues to take their next steps after college?We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with young people, who is organised, professional, compassionate, resilient, safeguarding aware, hardworking and with, if possible, a good knowledge of the Gatsby Benchmarks.

You would be a part of our Personal Development team, working in Swale where 3 of our 6 sites are.Your role would be working directly with the college students supporting their careers/progression advice, work experience placements and student voice opportunities. You would work with and build relationships with local employers and across The Brogdale CIC suite of companies providing the link for their work experience placement.

Experience preferred and GCSE English proficient.

Driver licence required.
