A leading energy provider in the UK is seeking a Production Technician II to operate and maintain plant equipment, perform water chemistry, and ensure environmental compliance. The ideal candidate should hold a Journeyman level qualification or relevant Associate degree, with the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift. The position sits within the Power Generation Division, which is responsible for all NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations. The plant is located in Southport, Florida. Preferred craft: Electrical or I&C.
Position performs power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment. This role includes other miscellaneous duties such as water chemistry and environmental compliance activities. The position will be required to work on a 12-hour rotating shift including night shifts, weekends and holidays, and respond to off-hour callouts when needed.
