A leading recruitment firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Lead/Principal Developer to design and implement applications for their Actuarial Private business unit. The role involves maintaining existing systems, leading design efforts, and mentoring team members. Candidates should have deep knowledge of .NET and Microsoft Azure technologies along with strong leadership skills. Playing a pivotal role in the development of digital solutions, this role will be focused initially on the design and implementation of applications related to our Actuarial Private business unit, which focusses on Defined Benefits pension schemes in the private sector. The successful candidate will have experience as a Lead/Principal Developer who is confident and able to take a pragmatic, yet well-structured approach to designing and developing applications. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead/Principal Developer to maintain ‘hands on’ involvement whilst also playing a role in technical design decisions and people leadership.
