This opportunity will be ideal for anyone with a passion and desire to deliver within applications engineering, we are looking for someone with an eye for detail and able to prepare documentation and diagrams. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical expertise in the design and installation of Substation Layouts for 400kV to 11kV substation projects.**Please note this position is of a hybrid nature (2/3 days working out of our central Birmingham office). Please also note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.****How you’ll make an impact*** To provide substation layouts and associated detail diagrams in accordance with established UK standards and processes through allocated CAD resource locally and in other business units.* To develop technical specifications and material schedules for primary equipment.* To prepare conductor force calculations.* To check and approve project documentation in accordance with established standards.* To ensure own work packages and delegated work packages are delivered to project programme, scope and align to allocated budget.
