Overview

The Croftlands Infant and Nursery School (Westmorland and Furness Council) is looking to appoint a Pre-School Assistant starting in September 2025 on a fixed term contract due to budgetary funding. FTE PCD5 £25,183.00 pro rata, 19 hours per week over 3 days. Term Time Only.

Closing date for applications: Friday 4 July 2025. The school will consider applications from dedicated and caring candidates who are committed to the well-being and development of children aged 2-3 years, and who are seeking a rewarding role in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities
  • Providing individualized care and attention to children, including personal care.
  • Creating a stimulating and safe play environment that supports child development.
  • Observing and documenting children’s progress and development.
  • Collaborating with parents and other staff to ensure consistent care.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of individual care plans.
What we're looking for
