A healthcare provider is seeking a Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician to join their team in the West Midlands. 37.5 hours per week (Rotational Weekend Working, Bank Holiday & Late Nights)
Fixed term for 24 months (February 2026 – January 2028)
Salary: £26,530 – £29,114 per annum (70% of Band 4 1st year and 75% of Band 4 2nd year)

The post holder will rotate through various areas of pharmacy, including inpatient and outpatient dispensing, goods receipt, ward stock distribution, medicines management and final accuracy checking. You will be offered a variety of experiences and training.
You will be required to attend one day of training off‑site per week at BMET Matthew Boulton College (day to be confirmed) or complete remote learning via one of our GPhC‑approved training providers.
Attend a two‑year course with one day per week virtual classroom to undertake studies to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a certificate in functional skills at level 2 (if required) and complete remote learning via one of our GPhC‑approved training providers.
Complete the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) by gathering a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence.
Participate in quarterly appraisals and personal reviews and work to achieve set objectives.
Develop professional and pharmaceutical skills through participation in the Trust’s pharmacy technician rotation programme.
Undertake study in own time when necessary.
