Qualifications

  • A professional qualification in PBS or a related field (psychology, autism, counselling, education, health & social care).
  • Experience working directly with children or young people with complex needs, learning disabilities, or Autism Spectrum Conditions & challenging behaviours.
  • Understanding of Ofsted.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, values-driven PBS support across the school.
  • Carry out functional behavioural assessments to understand individual needs.
  • Develop behaviour support plans informed by assessments.
  • Provide practice leadership and support to staff teams.

Skills

Experience with children with complex needs
Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support
Understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions
Strong communication skills

Education

Professional qualification in PBS or related field
