Qualifications

  • Experience with fault-finding and breakdowns preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance paperwork and documentation, ensuring this is compliant and always audit ready.
  • Regular site walk-rounds and maintenance checks on equipment, infrastructure and systems.
  • Installation of temporary pipework for running events across the site.
  • Support external production event teams for event delivery.

PIPEWORK SERVICES ENGINEER - SCOTTISH EVENT CAMPUS

Comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, the Scottish Event Campus is Scotland’s premier venue for events, gigs, conferences, and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues, with the OVO Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world, attracting over 2 million visitors per year.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance paperwork and documentation, ensuring this is compliant and always audit ready.
  • Regular site walk‑rounds and maintenance checks on equipment, infrastructure and systems (plumbing, gas, sprinklers and HVAC).
  • Installation of temporary pipework for the running of events, conferences and exhibitions across the site.
  • Support external production event teams for event delivery HVAC requests etc.
  • Tool usage proficiency with hand and power tools e.g. pipe cutters, wrenches, pneumatic press machinery, drills etc.
  • Fixture installation – installing toilets, sinks, showers, dishwashers, water heaters etc.

  • Provide proactive site maintenance.
  • Provide event delivery and support.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to Igreja detail in all tasks performed.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
