Job summary

An award-winning engineering company in the UK is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder (TIG) for a full-time fixed-term contract based in Tees Valley. The successful candidate will have proven experience in welding Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Aluminium, with the ability to read and fabricate from engineering drawings. Applicants must hold relevant qualifications, a full UK driver’s license, and possess skills in interpreting mechanical drawings. Qualifications

We are currently looking for an experienced Pipe Welder (TIG) to join our growing team in Middlesbrough with an immediate start available.

The candidate must be motivated and hardworking and must have a willingness to learn and adapt. The work will be a full time, fixed-term contract for works on a large project local to Teesside.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Ability to work within a team/on own to weld jobs
  • Proven experience working with Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium
  • Ability to read and fabricate from engineering drawings and execute welds with a high degree of accuracy

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Relevant codings or qualifications
  • A full UK driver’s license
  • Skills for interpreting mechanical drawings, documentation and data
  • Various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS are desirable
Working Hours
  • Full time – 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available at a higher rate
