An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor within the major trauma service. The post is based within the acute major trauma service.

Applicants should have a technical qualification e.g. NVQ Level III in an associated field or equivalent technical/work experience and have previous experience working as a Therapy Assistant or in a care setting . You will need to have an appreciation of the principles of Physiotherapy and experience of working as a member of a team. Good organisational and time management skills and a commitment to personal development are required as well as effective written and oral communication and IT skills.
To work as part of the physiotherapy team delivering physiotherapy to patients within the speciality, this will mainly consist of assisting the physiotherapist with mobility assessments, providing equipment, conducting rehabilitation sessions, progressing exercise tolerance and working with patients to progress their independence and engage them in healthy lifestyle conversations.
To be an active member of a multi-disciplinary team within the speciality.
