A regional healthcare provider in Exeter is seeking a Pharmacy SATO to join their QA team. The role involves managing pharmaceuticals and microbiological samples, ensuring testing is timely and results processed accurately. Candidates must exhibit attention to detail and follow structured procedures. The position offers a band 3 salary of £24,937 - £26,598 per annum pro rata, with flexible work hours including weekends and bank holidays.
This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and ensure that environmental samples are handled appropriately to ensure the smooth running of the QA activities. The samples will include pharmaceuticals and microbiological samples and the post holder will be critical in ensuring that testing is done in a timely manner and results are processed appropriately.
The post holder will be embedded into the Pharmacy QA team supporting as an MHRA licensed manufacturing department, the Pharmacy Aseptic Services, the Nuclear Medicine Department, and the Pharmacy as a whole.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy SATO to join our small team. As well as being a critical part of the day-to-day running of the department, the SATO will be involved in ensuring samples are handled appropriately to ensure the smooth running of the QA activities. The samples will include pharmaceuticals and microbiological samples and the post holder will be critical in ensuring that testing is done in a timely manner and results are processed appropriately.
A good attention to detail and the ability to follow set structured procedures are essential skills for this role. If you would like to work for a department that is involved in many different areas, which leads to an interesting and varied work environment, the Pharmacy QA team could be for you.
Any successful applicant for the above post will be expected to participate in flexible working which will include weekend and bank holiday rotas.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
