Overview

Personal Assistant/Support Worker - £13 to £15ph - Bristol - BS7

Personal assistant/ support worker required for our lovely 13 year old boy with Profound Learning Disabilities in Bishopston area, to access the community, build relationships and offer new opportunities.

Up to 12 hours per week term time and 16 hours school holidays (average of 13 hours per week). Flexible days and times to be discussed. Hourly rate up to £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Will be lone working and providing companionship to access the community and encourage engagement in social activities such as play parks, swimming and the general outdoors. Some duties will be inside the home.
Requirements
  • Car access is essential for transportation to activities and appointments.
  • Car owner is preferred to enable mobility and independence.
  • Carrying out personal care is required with the role.
  • Child-centred approach, passion for disability rights and a good sense of humour.
