A family in Chippenham is seeking a kind and reliable personal carer for their daughter who requires assistance due to cerebral palsy. This role involves 22.5 hours per week, mainly weekdays, with flexibility for additional hours. Duties include personal care, mobility support, and companionship. No formal experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Candidates should be non-smokers, patient, and possess good interpersonal skills. Compliance with the right to work in the UK is essential.
22.5 hours per week0630 to 0830 and 1600 to 1830 Monday to Friday plus other hours flexibly when available (to be agreed by both parties on as needs basis e.g. occasional weekend hours, daytimes during school holidays).If the hours above do not suit one individual, we are open to recruiting more than one person to cover the hours.
We're a family living in a village location and are looking for a kind and reliable personal carer or carers to look after our daughter whilst we are at work during the week, and when she is not at school.
She has cerebral palsy, and requires assistance with all aspects of care including dressing, feeding, personal care and moving (using a hoist) from bed to wheelchair. She has a cheeky grin and a wicked sense of humour, and enjoys lots of social interaction.
Ideally you should have some previous experience. Our daughter is non-verbal and does not have control of her body, so experience of special needs is a bonus, but not essential as we will provide full training
