This role involves ensuring smooth payroll processing, compliance with legislation, and collaboration with HR. Softcat's payroll team is part of a larger HR department that includes HR Services, Learning & Development, Reward, Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion, and Employee Engagement. The team collaborates to ensure that all payroll and benefit tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, working with various stakeholders across the business, such as Finance, HR Services, Benefits, and Reward.

Streamlining payroll with precision, compliance, and accuracy
As a Payroll and Benefits specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth payroll processing with timely, accurate information, conducting checks on monthly reports before management approval, and maintaining full compliance with payroll and pension legislation.
