Job summary

A major UK healthcare provider is seeking a Viral Hepatology Nurse Specialist to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing a diverse caseload of patients with viral hepatitis and involves advanced clinical assessments and treatments. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with suitable experience and knowledge of virology, possessing the ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team. Opportunities for non-medical prescribing training are available. Salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum, with part-time opportunities pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working in a gastroenterology setting.
  • Ability to recognise, assess and manage the deteriorating patient.
  • Evidence of relevant continued professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, treat and support a diverse caseload of patients.
  • Order investigations and provide treatment and care.
  • Provide ongoing highly specialised clinical advice.
