Job description
Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal

Easipetcare Chatham – Where your skills and wellbeing truly matter

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team at Easipetcare Chatham on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This is the perfect opportunity for an RVN seeking flexibility, a positive working culture, and the chance to make a real impact within a close-knit clinical team.

Our practice is warm, welcoming and well established, with a loyal client base and a team that genuinely cares. Conveniently located just off the M20 and commutable from London, our deceptively spacious surgery offers:

  • Four consult rooms
  • Separate canine and feline wards
  • Dedicated X-ray and ultrasound suite
  • A large modern theatre and prep room
  • A supportive environment committed to quality patient care

You’ll be joining a friendly team of 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN and a fantastic reception crew. Our clinically trained practice principal has over 15 years of small animal experience and is dedicated to helping every team member thrive.

Working hours/rota

The role is 20 hours per week, with flexibility in how these hours are structured. You will enjoy a varied mix of nursing consults, inpatient care, theatre work, client communication, and supporting the wider clinical team. There is a 1 in 3 Saturday morning commitment, shared across the team, and no out-of-hours work — when you’re off, you’re truly off.

Whether you’re returning to practice, seeking a better work-life balance, or prefer a part-time schedule, we are happy to work with you to create a rota that fits your lifestyle.

We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business. Investing in our people, premises and processes is at the heart of what we do. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will benefit from:

  • Your birthday as a paid day off
  • Private Medical Insurance

  • Initiatives focused on employee wellbeing

  • Access to discounts/cashback with hundreds of participating retailers
