Job summary

A leading distributor of books and magazines seeks a hardworking and reliable in-store book and magazine merchandiser in Castleford. This part-time role requires following planograms, ensuring promotional setups are timely, and maintaining a tidy work area. Candidates must be self-motivated, have communication skills, and be able to lift up to 40lbs. Access to a smartphone and transportation is necessary. Training will be provided, and no deliveries are required.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
• Access to a smartphone and internet is required.
• Own transportation is necessary unless living in Renfrew.

Responsibilities

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate.
• Ensure promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented on time.
• Re-order stock where appropriate.
• Keep work area tidy and organized.
• Work under guidance from the Merchandising Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as required.

We have 1 opening in Renfrew, ON (11.5 hours/week on Wednesday & Thursday) for in-store book and magazine merchandiser. No deliveries required; training will be provided. If you are reliable and able to work independently this could be the job for you! You must have access to a smartphone, internet and have your own transportation, if not living in Renfrew.

Duties

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate and appeasing
• Ensures promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented within a timely manner to company standard
• Re-orders stock where appropriate
• Ensure your work area is kept tidy and organized
• Works under the guidance and takes direction from the Merchandising Supervisor
• Other duties as required
