Hours

36.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday with flexible and hybrid working

Holiday

23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)

About the role

We have an exciting role for a Part Qualified Accountant in our Steyning office.

Key responsibilities
  • accounts production for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and not‑for‑profit clients
  • preparation of tax computations
  • dealing with client queries as they arise
  • management accounts and VAT returns
  • managing own workflow
About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • AAT qualified or equivalent as a minimum, ideally studying towards ACCA or ACA
  • previous experience in an accountancy firm
  • team player with strong work ethic and drive
  • ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills and presentation
  • good knowledge of Excel, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks & CCH is desirable
  • Xero certified is desirable but not essential

A driving licence and own transport is required.
