Paint Sprayer – Intoloop

Location: Preston, England, United Kingdom

Prestige Franchised Motor Dealership – Prestigious brand and top employer.

The Role

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Painting and finishing
  • Maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest levels
  • Be responsible for all aspects of paint process including mixing paints, surface preparation, maintenance of equipment and spray booth
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Preparing surfaces for painting by meticulously cleaning, buffing, polishing and masking the areas that should not be painted
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Proven experience as a Spray Painter/Paint Technician/Paint Shop Prepper in the automotive or vehicle manufacturing industry
  • In-depth knowledge and skill set of paint application techniques, body filler, surface preparation and refinishing processes
  • Proficiency in using computerised paint mixing technology to achieve precise colour matching
  • Excellent attention to detail and colour perception skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and can work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also collaborating effectively with the team
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
The Person

Candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills for customer service and team communication
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times
  • Awareness of and adherence to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations

Working Hours/days

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. 40 hours per week, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary

Basic: £35k. OTE: £42k+ (un‑capped, many earn more).
