Paid Social Senior Account Executive – Starling

Overview

Senior Paid Social Account Executive to join the Starling Bank account. This role involves delivering data-driven, commercially-focused campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. You’ll work closely with the Account Manager and Account Director to plan, activate and optimise campaigns that drive acquisition and brand-building. You’ll take ownership of campaign builds, QA processes, reporting and platform relationships, while supporting more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and more
  • Monitor campaign performance and make optimisation recommendations
  • Support with briefing, planning and audience strategy development
  • Prepare and deliver performance reports with clear insights and actions
  • Coordinate creative asset delivery and platform approvals
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners and platform reps
  • Help support Account Executives and contribute to their development
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, platform updates and regulatory guidance
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a paid social role, either agency or client-side
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager; TikTok and LinkedIn experience a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
  • Good organisational skills – able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking with clients and partners
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Experience working with finance or app-based brands (useful but not essential)
