A healthcare support provider in Sketty, Swansea is looking for a Paediatric Brain Injury Support Worker to assist a young male client with a brain injury. Responsibilities include transporting the client, assisting with daily living activities, and providing emotional support. Ideal candidates have paediatric experience, relevant health and social care qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. The role offers full-time hours with flexibility for part-time applicants.
We are seeking positive, energetic & fun-natured support workers to join our team for our new client in Sketty, Swansea. Our client is a young male who has a brain injury, dystonia and epilepsy. He is PEG fed and requires suctioning, so experience and/or prior knowledge and training for these are ideal, however training can be provided.
Previous experience supporting young children is essential, plus a full UK driving licence.
Full time hours available, detailed below, however we encourage part time applicants to apply if some of the shifts are suitable for you!
Mon, Tues & Thurs am – School drop off in a taxi.
Weds & Fri am – Taking client from home to physio appointment and then to school, either in a taxi or 2:1 in family WAV.
Mon – Fri pm – School pick-up until 7pm.
