Job Details

Job Title: PA to Primary Head Teachers and Nursery Admin

Required: ASAP

Salary: £14,368 per annum, pro rata to the FTE of £24,978 per annum

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Swindon Academy is looking for an enthusiastic PA to Primary Head Teachers and Nursery Admin. In this exciting new role, the successful candidate will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Head Teachers at both sites (Alton Close and Beech Avenue). They will also provide excellent administration support of key events, school programmes and the running of our character education.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple projects.
  • Providing administrative support to multiple head teachers.
  • Supporting key events and programme administration.
  • Maintaining records and reporting.
  • Supporting character education programmes.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience as a personal assistant, have worked in a school environment and have experience managing multiple projects. This is an interesting and wide‑ranging role, suited to an adaptable and detail‑oriented individual. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, be flexible, and able to manage a diverse workload.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to a good standard and have a minimum of a good GCSE (or equivalent) in maths and English, Level C or above
  • Have strong administrative, organisational and creative skills
  • Be able to work effectively at all levels, with a wide range of people, both independently and as part of a team
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong people skills
  • Have a dynamic, positive approach to deliver the Academy’s vision
  • Be self‑motivated and comfortable taking the initiative
  • Have the capacity to be flexible
