We specialize in providing crane installation, repair, and maintenance services to a wide range of clients across the North East of England. We are currently looking for an Overhead Crane Engineer with a strong electrical background to join our team and help us continue to provide our clients with high‑quality services. Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and associated equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in overhead cranes and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct electrical inspections and tests on overhead cranes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Provide on‑site technical support and advice to clients and colleagues as required.
• Complete installs of new, innovative technology to client cranes.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience as an Overhead Crane Engineer or in a similar role within the crane engineering industry, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components used in overhead cranes, including PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines, including LOLER and PUWER.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential.
