Overview

As an Optometrist at Vision Express, you’ll work with world-class technology including automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, fundus camera, visual field analyser, OCT and automated phoropters. We aim to help customers See More, Be More by maximizing their lifestyle through appropriate eyecare and eyewear solutions. Vision Express has over 550 stores across the UK and Ireland and is part of the EssilorLuxottica family.

Hours are flexible and may vary from the advertised schedule. We are open to discussing flexible options to fit around your ideal working week.

Responsibilities

• Experience in testing patients’ eyes and providing specialist recommendations on appropriate eyecare or eyewear solutions
• Great communication and rapport building to translate professional terminology into language understandable to patients
• Teamwork with colleagues across the whole store team
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment
• Confidence, passion, drive and enthusiasm

• Basic salary up to £78,000 (subject to experience and location)
