A leading timber supplier in the UK is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their Shellingford Depot. The role involves overseeing a team of 20 operatives, ensuring efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of operations management experience and a valid counterbalance FLT certificate. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of operations management experience.
  • Must hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate of competence.
  • Comfortable performing manual handling of products.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Shellingford Depot.

What will you be doing?
  • Average 40 hours per week
  • Working to KPIs and business demand
  • Overseeing a team of 20 Operatives
  • Recruitment, training and development of staff
  • Motivating and guiding the team
  • Addressing and resolving issues to ensure effective operation
  • Stock management
  • Monitoring and maintain health and safety compliance
  • A flexible approach to working hours between 7:00am – 8:00pm
Am I right for the job?

You will also be involved in picking and loading multi part orders yourself assisting the team when necessary so you must hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate of competence.
