Operational Training & Service Support Manager (Distribution) - UK – National Multi-Site Role - Travel Required

We’re seeking an experienced Training & Service Support Manager to deliver in-house MHE, FLT & PIT training across our distribution network, ensuring safety, compliance, operational resilience and cost efficiency.

This role partners closely with Site Managers to upskill teams, reduce external training costs, support incident response, and maintain peak operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess FLT, MHE & PIT training and refresher programmes
  • Act as technical specialist for operational equipment and machinery
  • Support Site Managers through Train-the-Trainer mentoring
  • Lead MHE incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct safety observations, risk assessments and compliance checks
  • Maintain training records, certifications and client compliance
  • Support onboarding, change initiatives and operational continuity
Essential Qualifications
  • Certified FLT / MHE / PIT Trainer (AITT or equivalent)
  • Health & Safety Level 3
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NEBOSH
