Job summary

A leading energy services company in Aberdeen is seeking a Welder/Fabricator Level 3 to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on offshore CCUs and tanks. The successful candidate will have prior welding experience, a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and be certified in relevant welding standards. This role involves working to tight deadlines while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of fabrication and confident in reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledgeable in identifying acceptable materials for DNV compliant repairs.
• Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to offshore CCUs and tanks.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to improve safety and aesthetics.
• Document trip inspection including electronically.
• Carry out visual inspection of all CCUs including inspection of lifting gear.
• Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene.

Education

Prior welding experience

Certified to carry out Secondary Structure Fillet Welds (EPD016)
